5 Yoga poses for calming your mind

 

Yoga poses, also known as asanas, can help calm the mind and promote relaxation. It helps in releasing your stress and tension from your body.

Yoga is a very traditional and highly effective exercise performed by Hindu from their culture Hinduism.

It has helped millions of people with their life for better clarity and Mindfulness.

here are 5 basic and effective yoga poses that can help you relax your body –

1. Child’s Pose (Balasana) – child pose also known as balasana is a very easy and simple pose for almost anyone and you can do it almost anywhere.

for the pose you need to relax your body and sit on yoga matte or anything you have.

Start by kneeling on the floor, bringing your big toes to touch and knees slightly wider than hip-width apart. Sit back onto your heels and fold your torso forward, bringing your forehead to rest on the mat. Extend your arms forward or alongside your body. Breathe deeply and hold the pose for several breaths.

This pose is gives pressure on you lower back, hips and thighs which provides deep relaxation.

2. Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana) – Standing forward bend is a very goof pose for relaxing tension from your back. this pose need a little practicing as in the pose you whole body needs to get bend. But you can do it with your comfort.

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, then bend forward from the hips. Allow your upper body to hang freely, and let your head and neck relax. You can bend your knees slightly if needed. Hold this pose for a few breaths and feel the soothing stretch.

you can firstly start with an object like chair also and slowly slowly with your everyday practice you back will be able to bend more.

this also good for better blood flow in your brain, giving you sense of relaxation.

3. Easy Pose (Sukhasana) – This pose is one of the simplest and easy pose which you can do in any quite place. This pose is also used for Meditation and in this pose all you need to do is to focus on your breath,

Sit on the floor or on a cushion with your legs crossed. Keep your spine straight, shoulders relaxed, and hands resting on your knees or in your lap. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and focus on the sensation of sitting in stillness.

 

this pose calms your mind like nothing else. do give it a try and put this in your regular routine for clarity and calmness.

4. Legs-Up-The-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani) –  Legs-Up-The-Wall Pose is one of the pose we used to do as a child while playing or passing the time. It is a very good pose to calm down your nervous system and gives you full body relaxation and calmness.

for the pose all you need is to be near a wall and lay down on the floor and put your legs high supporting with the wall and give a small gap between your both legs. now open your hands, let them relax on the floor each side and just relax your body and breathe deeply. Stay in this pose for a few minutes, allowing your mind to quiet down.

 

5. Corpse Pose (Savasana) – This final and the most simplest is definitely going to relax your all body and mind.

Lie on your back on the floor/yoga matte. Give a little gap  in your legs , spread to the length you will relaxed, do the same with your hands and just relax. Now relax your whole body parts like your shoulder, neck, back, legs, palm and even your face muscles. Focus on your breath and release any tension or thoughts. Stay in this pose for at least 5-10 minutes, or longer if desired.

There are many methods for calming your brain and give you relaxation. However, Yoga is always one and a very good choice to learn. You can try and explore many poses that calms your mind these were some of the simple ones. Keep any one of them in regularity and it will surely help you body and brain.
